STCP — New Digital Portal for the Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos do Porto

A new digital experience for urban mobility

STCP Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos do Porto entrusted Fullscreen with the development of its new digital portal a modern, accessible and user-oriented platform built on Studio CMS, Fullscreen’s proprietary solution for large-scale corporate websites and portals.
The project reflects STCP’s commitment to innovation, sustainable mobility and transparent communication with the citizens of the Porto Metropolitan Area.

Challenge

The previous STCP website no longer reflected the company’s technological evolution nor met users’ expectations for digital mobility. It was necessary to create a new responsive portal, faster, more inclusive and capable of integrating dynamic content such as timetables, routes, disruptions and real-time service updates.
In addition, the new portal needed to convey the renewed institutional identity of STCP, strengthening the emotional connection between the brand and its passengers.

Approach

Fullscreen developed the project using its StudioCMS platform, ensuring full autonomy in content management, high performance and seamless integration with external systems.
The design team created a user-centred visual experience, combining colours, typography and iconography inspired by STCP’s brand identity with a clear structure optimised for mobile usability.
Particular attention was given to accessibility, following WCAG standards, and to navigation efficiency, allowing users to quickly access the information they need — whether a timetable, a route or an institutional update.

The new STCP portal serves as a central hub for information and interaction with users, offering:

• Real-time updates on service interruptions and notices;
